Harry Flood Byrd, Jr. additional papers, ciarca 1991-2009.

The papers consist of chiefly of family correspondence. With these are photographs, chiefly of a trip to Israel in 1974, and miscellaneous printed materials. The collection also contains an article on William Mackey, an ancestor of the Faulkner family, and a class paper "The war between the states: morals, morale, and effects," which contains references to Charles James Faulkner. The collection also contains a program, news article, and photographs from the presentation of the Harry F. Byrd, Jr. '35 Public Service Award at the Virginia Military Insitute to the honorable Sandra Day O'Connor. The collection also contains a silver anniversary program for the Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business at Shenandoah University and a newsclipping about the event. The collection also contains assorted memership cards in various organizations. The collection also contains an Artarctica calendar, an advertisement for Rosemont apples, and Christmas cards from George and Laura Bush and Dick and Lynn Cheney. The collection also contains a scrapbook compiled by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in honor of his 91st birthday in 2005.
